Absorbable surgical suture with or without needle - PGA is a sterile, absorbable, synthetic, multifilament surgical suture, composed of pgolycolic acid（C2H2O2）n. The coating material is polycaprolactone and calcium stearate.And the suture meets all the requirements of United States Pharmacopoeia(USP) and European Pharmacopoeia(EP)for absorbable surgical suture. 2.Indications The suture is indicated for use in soft tissue approximation and/or ligation but not for use incardiovascular tissue and neurological tissue. 3.Action The suture has a high initial tensile strength. 70% of the original tensile strength is retained upto two weeks after surgery, 50% of the original tensile strength is retained at the end of three weeks post implantation. In general, the suture is completely absorbed after about 60-90 days and the absorption of different tissues are slightly different. 4.Adverse effect Results in minor and temporary inflammation.,such as erythema and induration etc.This is the characteristic of the tissue reacting to foreign bodies after it has gradually healed. 5.Contraindications: The suture should not be used : 1. Where extended approximation is necessary 2. In cardiovascular and neurological tissues . 3. Do not use if you are allergic to suture material. 6.Warning 1.Do not re-sterilize! Re-sterilization will decrease tensile strength of suture and may also lead to product contamination, EO residue exceeds certain limits. 2.Do not re-or-cross use! Reuse will result in: thread break, dirt, the needle and suture separate, and increasing the risks for the patient after surgery, like fever, infection, thrombus, etc. 3. Do not use if package is damaged! Use of sutures with damaged package may lead to infection. 4.The remaining suture after use shall be disposed properly to avoid environmental pollution and personal injury caused by needle tips. 5.Do not use after expiry date. The use of expired sutures may lead to infection or its product performance may not meet the intended use. 6.Do not use rusty needles. Use of rusty needles may cause infection and other harms. 7.Precautions 1.The suture shall be selected according to the suture tissue, the suture with suitable material and specification shall be chosen; and the surgical experience and suture technique of the doctor will affect the suture effect; 2.It is necessary to handle the suture and needle with care, paying attention to the needle and avoiding damage being caused by needle holders;
